Well if one can only get clear sky in the daytime then one has to make the most of it! Here's the Moon - my Sony A700 DSLR at prime focus of C80ED 600mm scope - 1/125th sec f7.5 ISO 200 cropped and processed with PSE5  And this is the Red Channel only....  Enjoy! Paul.

Beautiful pair Paul, I second Martin in choosing. I believe Red Channel brings out a bit more detail though, at least to my tired old eyes. Great!
