Those are fantastic John!!. It must take a great deal of skill, patience, and experience, to get images of an unpredictable moving subject like that. Beautiful captures of a beautiful raptor. I also enjoyed the images and report on the link. That's a very refreshing and pleasing website to view. Keep us posted on any other wildlife photography you do.

Many thanks. They are fantastic to watch. I believe they are better to look at around this time of the year when the 'battles of mating' have healed, many had pieces of wing missing.

John. Ref. the vole. I learned something very interesting recently. Voles and the like don't stop and have a pee and then move on. They dribble a trail, constantly, and the eye of the raptors see the ultra-violet  tell tale  trail and that's how they home in on the unsuspecting creature.  Basically, their pee 'glows'  Nature really  is amazing.

JohnC - you're a mine of information. I've been watching nature one type or another for donkeys and I never knew that, fascintaing. As you say, nature really is amazing, thanks for sharing that!
