Sadly they make me work too late to catch the actual sunset, so I went down to the shores of Lough Neagh to catch the twilight afterwards, and of course what I was really looking for was Venus.... So that was a neat little diversion on the way home! All taken with Minolta Dimage A2 camera on tripod in P mode with exposure compensation applied. Paul.

What lovely images Paul, you're lucky to be working so close to the lough. Had I gone down the sunset would have gone so had to make do with houses instead See other thread!

The sequence of images tells a nice story as the Sun vanishes and dusk arrives. Nice view over the Lough with the Swans. Good work catching Venus!

Took a lot of images of this evening's sunset at the Loughshore. Here's just one of them - it was a beauty! P.

Yeah it was a cracker, thanks for the text Martin. Lovely image Paul, I got a couple from home but had more cloud than you had. It's still in the camera however, will post one later.

Those are two beautiful images Paul. Lovely light effect on the Swans. That looks like a volanic sunset to me.

Splendid shots Paul - and some lovely colour too. The last one with the swan is particularly nice.
