I’ve past this many a time and never stopped to take an image so today I opted to stop and taken a few images despite the high winds blowing a gale. The Angel of the North has a wingspan of 54m and is 20m tall and is situated just off the A1 in Gateshead.   Thanks |

First shot is stunning Anton, great landscape style and vibrant colours. Like the cloud structure in the second, looks like a corona during a total solar eclipse  |
