Congratulations Dave on being a finalist. Great photo of you and a beautiful fogbow that you caught! Is there some way you can post it on the forum so we can get a better look at it?

Excellent result Dave, congratulations on getting selected within the top ten of such a major photo comp which is an honor in itself. It's good to put a face to the name of the person who is an expert at catching these brilliant fogbows, the image in the background looks impressive!. Nice one on the manipulated images, it's good to have a bit of fun and let one's hair down

Not sure whether this should be regarded as an 'action shot' or just qualify for a 'Prat of the Year' award! Taken a few years ago now in the sun-kissed Highlands (I'm ashamed to admit that I can't remember the exact location), it shows 'yours truly' with a set of bagpipes which I'd bought a few days previous in the First & Last House at John O'Groats. The knockdown price of around fifty quid & the fact that they were made in either the likes of Taiwan or China, now) will give you some idea as to the quality of them - though I did mange to get a few notes out of the chanter on its own! Luckily traffic in these parts is very few & far between so managed to avoid any suggestions on where to stick 'em by passing motorists!
