I went back down to the same beach I frequented last week when it was so warm, a little different this time. Between drops and couldn't even keep my tripod grounded it was so windy.

The lighting you've captured is wonderful,Richard. As Dave says it's nice to see a Cb  too. Keep getting down to the beach, might often be the same scene but the changing light conditions make it  different image  each time. As the saying goes.'.photography is all about light'.

Thanks for the comments everyone. You're correct John, evening light on a west facing beach is a beauty, especially in filtered light. I just now noticed my jacket sleeve in the bottom right corner of the third image. I had my very ( too light) tripod buried about 4'' into the sand trying to anchor it in the high winds. Combined with the slow shutter speeds, very few images turned out sharp.
