Seeing John's nice picture of Sirius & M41 yesterday inspired me to have my first view of the season of this lovely cluster using my 10X50 binoculars.
That reminded me of a shot that I took back in March but failed to post here.
Taken with my old 500mm f8 Paragon lens, it's a stack of 22X150 sec each light frames (plus darks & flats). The lens was fitted with my IDAS light pollution filter & was attached to my Canon 350D & mounted on my AstroTrac.
As I said on John's thread, this is one of my favourite clusters though sadly I don't get to see the colour through my bins & which I have 'bumped up' in this image.
Looking forward to viewing this object again during this current winter season.
