Not far away now from the peak of the Lyrids on the 22nd.  Does anyone have any plans to monitor this event? Best times seem to be pre-dawn after the moon has set on the morning of the 22nd with the 21st and 23rd worth a look too with peak rates expected at 10-20 meteors per hour.    I haven't watched this shower before so hoping for clear skies.  Smiley

Busted - we seen 11, two borderline fireballs, then the clouds came in for good around 02.00, rubbish conditions and poor activity, cold too with frost on the car.
