Very similar to my effort on March 20th: same equipment & technique.


2010 Apr 18, 1807 UT. WO FLT 110, prime focus (f/7), IR pass filter, Imaging Source DMK41 camera. 3 frame mosaic.

A very fine result Brian, love the crisp detail. Don't often see a mosaic of a crescent like this.

Thanks guys!

March/April is "waxing crescent moon season"; good northerly declination does help a lot. I'm probably done with the Moon now until the August/September "waning crescent moon season".
