You've done a great job on the high rise buildings.
That smog looks awful,Richard,I'd bet you've put years on your life by getting away from it to a clean air environment- do they have high rates of respiratory illnesses there ?

Wonderful set of images Richard, love the skyscrapers, great perspective in 4. The 1st image reminds me of the opening scene to the A-Team. Also like the shot of the Moon with the Christmas lights below .

Thanks for the comments gentlemen. John, you always trade bad one thing for another, bad air quality for the dampness of the Pacific Northwest. The air quality in Los Angeles is markedly better now than 20 years ago. A lot of that in the photo is early morning haze and moisture trapped by high clouds until the sea breeze kicks in. The sea breeze just blows it farther inland where we use to live. Not making excuses for the L.A. area, they'll always have their smog!

Cheers,Richard. With all this 'green' agenda and hybrid cars becoming ever more popular, over time that smog will decrease even further. Just out of interest I googled earthed Beverly Hills a couple of weeks ago and was amazed at the housing density, I thought it would have been sparse with just very expensive 'Film Star' houses. I looked at other locations there too, also heavily populated. I must take off these rose,-tinted glasses

Lovely set of images Richard... Some great details. Shame about the smog... that fourth one though, does my head in... very vertiginous, excellent.

Very interesting shots Richard - that's where I'm starting my next holiday! Interesting approach to the high-rise, very effective!
