Hi Martin I've just seen your NLC display made the TWAN web site congratulations and well done mate http://www.twanight.org/newTWAN/guests_photos.asp?ID=5001088
.You just reminded me to send off my own I'm pretty sure mine are from the same display.Attached is my favourite i was running around looking for a decent foreground and remembered this old automatic light house marking the entrance to the Boyne river at Mornington Co Meath.I think it looks a little like an Apollo lunar module Grin

Thanks very much for the post Declan. This my 2nd appearance on TWAN so I have been very lucky indeed.

Your image of NLCs is a beauty!, rich, colourful, complex display with a wonderful foreground. Very well composed. Send it in to TWAN...

Both excellent examples of the phoenomena! I should maybe dig out some of my own examples and send them away :-)
