Well guys here is my first image on the new boards well have an image. It was more of a test for the new spacer I got for the camera and it worked :-) image is just 8x4 min no darks or flats Image taken on 13th of July 08 through a William Optics FLT-110 Triplet APO refractor Atik 16Hr cdd camera. Guided with a Celestron 80ED And Sac 4.2 ccd camera with phd guiding software On a CGE mount. Class image Carl - lots of detail considering it was a pretty short exposure. Being M27 what it needs now is the colour exposures adding!

Great image Carl! it would be nice to see it in colour though the b/w version is very detailed, well done!

That's a beauty Carl!. Great feeing of depth within the image as if the viewer was suspended in space. Those faint lobes on each side of the nebula are very well captured. Nice work.
Managed to see Capella last night and a clear strip along the northern horizon 5 degrees high and that was that. Too much cloud.

Thanks for your comments lads I can't wait to get going with this scope under dark skies and getting it's full potential from it. At the moment I have to iron out all the creases so I will be ready for August and the dark skies. I had a great time last night I even got to see ISS pass over to I just looked up and there she was it was between 3&4 stroke of luck or what.
