When I was trying to get my focus perfect last night, something I didn't manage to do on my 8" scope, so gave up and started using my 400mm lens, I used Vega as the target. Vega is so bright, and 15 secs is much too long an exposure for it, that the flare from the Corrector plate and two mirrors in the scope (Meade Schmidt-Newt) makes itself very obvious!
