The Ring Nebula is a very difficult nebula to process Well, you seem to have done a wonderful job! I can't remember seeing the small spiral galaxy a few ring diameters to the top left before!

Carl, that's a superb image! You have picked up the outer shell of M57 as well. As well as that faint galaxy (IC 1296) at about mag 14, and rarely seen in "amateur" images, I can pick up another five galaxies, at least, in the whole image and there could be even more. It's a great image

Carl that's an absolutely superb image - setting a standard for the rest of us to aspire to!
It also illustrates a point that it took me a while to get - you don't have to do DSOs all on one night!
Clear skies,
Paul.

Thanks for all your comments lads. I'm looking forward to the dark nights and giving this scope a hard nights work. I also forgot to say thanks to Dave Grennan for helping me to process this image

It is very good image, Carl. I see how much work it needed to process.
