A quick shot from a couple of nights ago which I've only just had time to process. I wasn't expecting to see this comet and had used a couple of nearby stars as shown on Starry Nights o point the camera in exactly the right direction.  However there was definitely an extra 'dot' in my 6X30 finderscope where the comet should have been. Certainly there was a definite 'smudge' in the centre of the resultant image which was a combination of a few four-minute-each subs through a 500mm lens, mounted on my AstroTrac.

Great image Andy. The magnification definitely does the comet justice rather than using my 50mm lens. Now it looks like a comet rather than a star. Beautiful detail, focus and tracking. Good job!

Excellent job Andy!. Christensen is very easy to see on the image with the slight irregular shape to the coma evident. Great stuff.
