Conditions were not good enough to try either 2x or 3x barlows so here's what I got at prime focus. This is 500 frames cropped but otherwise untouched. Hardly Hubble but a result showing the edgewise rings and a belt or two. Taken May 30 at 2250UT by which time Saturn was getting low.

That's a very nice capture of Saturn John. Nice sharp edge-on rings and I was impressed by the capture of at least one belt and main eq zone. Reminds me of my first view of the planet through a small scope years ago which is a fond memory!

A good one John! Somehow Saturn just isn't the same without the rings is it? Did you try winding up the gain to get the Moons?

Thanks guys. I agree it just isn't like Saturn that way. No, in fact I didn't think of that, though when capturing the avi I did see Titan on the screen. It didn't come out on the stacked image though. Must give that a go.
