Sorry for the delayed post, but I just found out the forum was back up...Anyways.
Back on Friday a couple friends and I headed down to Missouri, just to do it...lol. But we stopped at waubonsie state park just to check out the sights...glad I went! basically as we approached the park we noticed what looked like fires in the park...I quickly got excited for a great twilight op...forest fires! soon I realized it wasn't fires, it was some kind of fog or steam from the outflow of some training storms in NE kansas (about 70 miles SW). Once we got into the park it was just a short jont up to the main overlook. Long story short I was just speechless, it was WAY more nuts in person seeing the fog/steam flowing up the bluffs. I was super green in that park, looked like a rainforest.
These images are HDR, at least a little bit, nothing too crazy. Its about as realistic as I could make them to what it really looked like.
This last one is probably my favorite, I'm not sure why.
