Thanks for the comments. Those Mts. on the right in the second image are the 14,000 ft White Mts., about 50 miles away. That's where the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest is located. When I lived in California I spent many summers backpacking and camping in the Sierras, has to be one of my favorite areas.
