Thanks Mark, yes the season must surely be drawing to a close very shortly, the last display I seen was on the night before last, it was faint and unimpressive, so that might be it for this year. Having said that I wouldn't be a surprised if a major display briefly appeared after sunset or before dawn on any of these still worth keeping watch.

This was/is the best NLC season I have ever seen in my life with truly breathtaking shows, so many type 5 displays, so many all-sky coverage, all with rich colours and awesome stucture. It has been a season I shall never forget and which all future seasons will be compared with. The 2010 NLC seasons has a lot to live up to....
