Hi Mark, I noticed on that night that the KP was at 6 and IMF was far south and knew there was a major aurora visible at that very time, unfortunately I was completely clouded out here all night. Had it been 24 hours earlier than I would have had it on camera...very annoying. It must have been a good display because it was imaged from Nebraska by Mike Hollingshead on the same night. For me, it was the 'display which got away'.
