There was another display here last night (thanks Jonathan for the call) which started about midnight and then died somewhat. However, at 02:45BST I noticed quite a few bands in the NE and decided to go runabout! Nomatter where I went I couldn't seem to get shelter from the strong breeze shaking the tripod but did get a few passable shots. The image below was taken at 03:09BST. That's Venus in the midst of the NLC's,while directly above just below the cloud is the Pleiades and to the right between the two is Mars.
