Didn't see anything her,Anton. We did hear a 'swish' and a very bright light filled the bedroom at about 3.00am a few nights ago I think the 17th-not sure but that was almost certainly a Perseids meteorite. Nice shot of the ISS btw.

I'm surprised they've turned out Anton, what with all the steet lighting,I thought that would have blown it out but it hasn't. Love the Audi  Smiley

Well, I think long exposures like this will show noise, infact photos of some dark gray  clouds when taken to 50% even show noise-maybe something like Ninja or Nik's Define2 is worth considering,Richard.

You caught it  though,Anton. and it looks fine to me.I like the clouds too.

Another class shot,Mark. They say Friday and Saturday may be OK.
8  General Category / Photography / Re: Photos by Moonlight on: August 16, 2011, 07:36:41 pm
Good effort,Richard. The last two look ok. The first a bit overexposed maybe. See what the others say on the technical side. and it's the trying that counts,so they say-the rest comes along soon afterwards.. . I see the car lights in number 2.

Love number 2. I remember this cliff-you didn't like to get to near the edge because of the wind I think, I'll always enjoy views of the Oregon coast no matter how many times they're posted.

Looks like someone's getting a bonfire ready or maybe just drying out the wood.Nice contrasting colours there,Richard and as Anton says, peaceful - good place for a picnic too.

The 400mm is serving you well,Martin. I see the Jet Stream is  sitting right over the Uk dragging'stuff' in off the Atlantic but  I hope you get  a break and catch an aurora.
