You would be right Paul, they can look bad but it all depends on what you want from your shots and how you process them, Photomatix can make them overly done!!  I like #2 as well.

                   I would buy a few photography mags every month when I can afford it. There are very good articles which I have learnt from recently! one being HDR, I'm still learning but here are some of my attempts.

Thanks Paul! Yes WOW indeed, I just pointed the camera and took 3 shots before it was gone. Never seen anything like it before, all taken at Ballycastle.
