Title: A proper night without the moon
Post by: Conor McDonald on November 02, 2010, 09:02:07 pm
Myself and Martin visited the coast again on sat when the moon was no present. I really wanted to get back to grab some shots without the moon, only thing that I need now is a 10-22 lens! ;D

These are absolute beauties Conor!, glad you got around to posting them, excellent composition with the foreground and fanastic detail in the stars. It's really difficult to pick a favourite among these as they all are so good, I like what you done with the portait shot showing the tyre tracks in the beach!. The Downhill Temple images are stunning, dark nights really are the best for that area, the north coast has so much to offer. Thanks for the lend of the battery !

That's the same beach I was on last night watching the storms  :)

Stunning shots Conor!  Agree with Martin, they're all very good. If i was pushed to pick a favourite, no1 of the temple is class and no.4 of the beach with the town lights and reflections off the water stand out for me.  :)

Conor, these images are brilliant and you should be so proud of what you have bagged here each picture is a classic saying that I do favour image 4, the colours of the cliffs from bronze to green look great I also like the way your eye is drawn to the centre guiding you down the path of water reflections to the horizon.

Thanks

Anthony

I don't think anything could be done to #1 and 2 to make them any better. Perfect!! I would definitelty have # 1 printed up about 16x20, that could be sold. #5 looks like it was taken by one of the Mars Rovers. Excellent set of photos.
