Title: 2 Day Old Moon
Post by: rjgjr on July 24, 2009, 11:41:57 pm
Here is a 2 day old moon over the foggy Pacific. Luckily it has stayed just off shore to continue our string of clear, beautiful nights.

Indeed. More than a hint of volcanic dust in the stratosphere, I think.

That's a terrific shot of "my" Moon Richard! I haven't seen it since Wednesday myself though hopefully will catch a glimpse this evening.

Thanks everyone. I did think of you Paul as I was checking this out, looking west across the Pacific. I tried catching it at one day old the day before, but between the twilight being so bright and probably not looking quite the right area, it didn't happen.
