Noticed this on the Armagh Observatory website...

I haven't read through how it works yet but will do so later. Anybody looked at it yet?, Might come in useful for observing. Interesting to see the lifting index on there which is good for forecasting t-storms too.

Would be interested in you views.

I've had the 7timer site bookmarked for a few months now ... basically it doesn't seem to be particularly useful to me because the accuracy of cloud prediction is poor.

I, too, have the 7timer site bookmarked (along with about eight others). I don't think any of the sites I use stand 'head & shoulders' above the other in terms of accuracy - though 7timer is right tonight about the cloud cover here in Oxford.  Sad

Thanks for your opinions on this guys. From what you have said I might give it a miss then although I will read through the pdf link to find out the full story.
