Been having some more fun with the Raynox
1) Peanut Shell

2) Blackberry (keybad not fruit)

3) Brandy glass

4) Rubber bands

5) French Bread

6) A Crumpet

7) Oil in a bottle

Cool Onion, I can't believe that the Raynox picked up some cell details...

Cheers John. it would be good to have some proper macro kit, but this works pretty well anyway and was a 1/10 the price. It's an absolute ****** to focus. I've not seen any spiders around for a while now, but as I don't have a decent flash, I'm not sure, with the kit I'm using at the moment, I'm going to be able to take shots of creatures unless they are very still. Although I spose I could push the ISO up, overexpose it a little and then pull it back... hmmm.

Those are class John. Amazing how beautifully structured and alien looking the macro world is! That first one freaked me out a little  Smiley

Have you tried any insects with the macro recently?

Thanks very much Martin. It's an entirely otherworld. I've not tried insect macros for a while, the light is going to be a serious problem with this setup. It's just not going to work with the onboard flash and the sorts of shutting settings for unlit are going to be just too long.
