Hi last night we were at a farm house ,under transparent skies. We could see the milky way in cassiopea and andromeda with naked eye. Iwas dissapointed with crab nebula and was faint on my lx 200 10 inch for some reason. http://tinyurl.com/a94nqo   is the link to rosette

Not only have you caught the nebula beautifully Suresh - but also the differing star colours. Very well done!

I have to agree with you regarding M1. I often used to find it to be a disappointment through my scope. Living a mile or so from Oxford city centre doesn't help much either!  Sad
