Those are brilliant Richard. You are great at framing and composing an image. Lovely convection in number 2 and great bow as well. You must have had a good wide angle lens for that.  Smiley Looks like high ground. Beautiful area you live in.

I thought you might enjoy seeing this squall line moving in ahead of an Alaskan cold front Sunday afternoon on the Oregon Coast. I have never seen it get so dark so fast as it did by 1 pm local time. About 5 minutes after I took this photo, we had a wind burst come in ahead of the torrential rain and by then we had retreated to the safety and dryness of the truck. No thunder, lightning or hail, just a soaking rain.

Some interesting anvils building about sunrise to the west. Will keep an eye throughout the day.
Forgive the noise in the photos, I idn't notice until I was resizing them that I had the ISO on 1600.

Beautiful Richard! Some mamma forming on the rear too. I'm amazed how noise free the images are considering the 1600 ISO - impressive!. I hope you get a good storm there in the near future. I would love to see c-gs over the Ocean there  Smiley Thanks for sharing those excellent images.

Yes, that is very beautiful, Richard.  Smiley That is the only Cb which I seen recently - convective weather is much unlikely at my location during the winter.

Here is another of the endless squall lines moving in off the Pacific from the Northwest this afternoon. This was taken from Cape Sebastian. Thanks for putting up with all the storm photos as there is not much to do when it's like this.

I love these storm images Richard. Please keep posting them!. Love the first one with the dark squall moving in, looks nasty out there. Good to see some exciting weather, over here high pressure is dominating so everything is cloudy and dry.

After so many weeks of rain here in the Northwest U.S., it was nice to have a moonlit, partly cloudy night for a change.
