These came into the feeder with me standing in the garden

This one was up in the tree, I've no idea what it is...

It's a finch, probably a female, possibly chaffinch or bullfinch.

A very nice selection John. The 2nd last is a beauty - nature in action. Thanks for sharing those.

Thanks Gents. Martin I was quite surprised that came out like that... I took it when the bird was on the branch or thought I had anyway.

Lovely shots. You did well to get a Great Tit in flight, they are so fast and your fat square looks far better quality than our fat balls.I better check the pet shop to see if they have something like that - it looks much more appetising - well, not for me of course  but if I were a Great Tit it would.   Lol.

Thanks John. I'll freely admit it was pure luck. It had been sitting on the branch as I pressed the shutter button, just goes to show how fast they move. The Fat square is a cheapy from Wilkinson (on offer, 2 for £1.50 I think), the starlings are going through so much of it that in the course of 2 months we're onto the 8th block.

Grin I don't have that problem, she put me onto the blocks there. It's the seed and insect block (brown lid, although they do others)
