I assume this is the right forum for these photos rather than 'Photography'

John, those are stunning fog shots, I feel cold just looking at them. Very dramatic indeed. Your dedication paid off  Wink. Looks like a scene from the film of the same name - the original one by John Carpenter.

Either section is fine, however this section seems most appropriate I reckon. Thanks for sharing those.

Totally agree with Martin & Roman, They are great shots John...

Looks like a lovely place to watch the sun rise or set and the trees popping out of the fog is so spooky...  Shocked

Thanks, glad you liked them.   It's quite a steep climb up there but a great view. There are pheasants, partridge and deer living in that countryside and it takes me 5 minutes in the car to get to the hill and 7 minutes from the car  to the summit so it's on the doorstep really. I looked at the night sky last night  for a photo, got to start sometime Lol..but the moon was very bright and I decided to do an early rise, for the fog, well sort of early for me, rather than hang about waiting for the moon to clear the skies.

You probably would have been cold if you were out at that time this morning!
