I watched through my photo archives and found there many photos which I haven't yet uploaded anywhere. Take a look at them  Smiley

A short stop in the mountains on the road from Feodosiya to Simferopol

Close to Demerji mt.

I was observing something in my binoculars

And here is what I actually looked at (Southern Demerji mt., 1239m)

And this place is called a "Valley of ghosts". If you look on the previous photo, this valley is visible to the right (between two mountains)

Those are fantastic. Amazing scenes. Valley of the ghosts looks haunting yet beautiful at the same time. Looks like a geology gold mine!

Demerji mt., 'rear' view (from SE)

Drive carefully there!

Crimean roads are really enjoyable to drive

Cumulus moving N to S across Karabi-yayla mt. range

Some more Cu above Karabi-yayla

P.S. Karabi imho is the most beautiful mt. range in Crimean mts.

This transport we used to get to Khaphal canyon (see this topic). Only offlanders can drive that road (people of course too, but walking another 1km in the mountains isn't always necessary  Wink )

Caught some spectacular crepuscular rays at the seashore on the way back (5PM)

Sun setting behind the mt.Artyshly-Burun (352m) near Sudak.

Not great background, but very distinct crep. rays

The most strange-shaped Cumulus I have ever seen

Possibly it formed due to powerful & hot wind from S, and the cloud was 'blown away' and evaporating at the same time.

Another strange shape of Cu. I don't remember whether I posted this on the forum or not, so here's the link

I call this "Railroad sunset". Waxing crescent Moon adds to it.

Panorama of the Feodosiya seaport

and closer...

(excessive blue, yes? I like this colour!)

Here I made some attempts to assemble a panoramic shot  Roll Eyes
(town of Feodosiya in evening twillight)
TIFF  2900x220  1.2 Mb
JPG  2900x220  57 kb
A small preview:

Can someone recommend me a useful & easy software for making panoramic images? Please.

Oh,great ! I love to see photos of where people live, especially from another country . The trucks, the railway, the docks etc.. Any of your town centre ? and  it's good to actually see who we are 'talking ' to.  Strange rock structure there, I guess they are just weathered  to those shapes.

That's a good effort at stitching, I don't think it's easy but the right software will make the job a lot easier.

Great shots Roman - a part of the world I've never visited - looks like great scenery!

Serif Panorama Plus. v1 can be had for free on certain cover discs - I upgraded to v2 which is supposed to cost £40 but was £10 as an upgrade from a freebie. Does seamless blending and so on and works a treat on Moon Mosaics as well!

I'm told that the PhotoMerge in Photoshop Elements v6 and 7 is very good too - I have v5 and the function in that one is next to useless.
