I better not show these  photos to my wife or she'll want ours up Lol.  All very homely.

Oh dear she's just been in here and thinks we ought to have the tree down out of the attic - hopefully she'll have forgotten by tomoorrow.  Grin

John.I tried to get my photo settings on the photo like you have  because it's very useful to know but you have them in the border. I like borders and  apply mine in Photoshop CS2 but it doesn't work, they won't sit in there. Could you tell me how you do that please ?

Guys, I love those Christmas tree shots!, They are so warm and cosy. Fantastic to see them. Looks like this is turning into a good Chistmas deco image thread. You have got me interested in a trying for a few more myself. Keep them comming everyone  Smiley

JohnC, sounds like that trip to the attic is fast approaching  Grin

Thanks all.

John, for the borders. I know there is a border script for CS2 available from here. I'm using Aperture with the BorderFX export plugin now (we've moved over to Mac). Prior to that I was using a Lightroom with LR/Mogrify export plugin. The two export plugins provide very similar functionality. I'm a member of a dedicated Photo forum, and the members always want the exif data, but I had a weird issue on the PC that meant the embedded EXIF was stripped even when I told it not too.

Thanks for that John. I've checked out the link and I'll get my neighbour in to help me download it as I'm not too good with computers. We both have Macs, he has Aperture too.

Very festive piccies all. Not bothering with a tree as there are only two presents to go under it. One for me - and one about ten times bigger for the cat!

I can feel the warm glow of Christmas in your image Roman!

I'm bored because there's nothing in the sky to image so I decided to take a few images of my Christmas decorations this evening. These are all time exposures in a dark room.

Very nice decorations, Martin. It seems that your dogs are sleeping there all day & all night (maybe not, but my pets sleep nearly all day, doing only short breaks for meals)  Grin

All the photos and decorations are great. The dogs look toasty and warm in front of the fire. I always wondered how Santa got down through the chimney. Merry Christmas to everyone, and to all, a good night!

What a very warm, festive & inviting atmosphere you seem to have there Martin. No wonder the dogs look so content.

Roman, not only does my cat sleep all of the time but I am typing this at around 4.30am, having been kicked out of bed by him!  Angry Grin
