Plenty more to come from what was supposed to be our quiet weekend away on the North Coast for our wedding anniversary, but which featured some of the wildest weather I've ver seen! Here's one for starters - this is a long exposure of the sea at Port Ballintrae... Enjoy! Paul.

Nice one Paul. Look forward to see more images. It was a nasty weekend that's for sure, certainly severe here during Sat/Sun. The gales actually stopped here at 03.00, they had been going non stop for almost 24 hours. One of our flower pots has vanished. Now it's such a beautiful clear sky....

It looks like kind of rough and to think a wind surfer went out in those conditions and had to be rescued.

Yes Jonathan, we saw the Coastguard helicopter in action - didn't know whay until we read the news later - silly so and so! Here's a couple more pics.... Portstewart and Ballintoy Enjoy! Paul.

The scene in the Portstewart image looks nasty. I can really sense the power and depth to those big waves!. That's actually quite frightening looking.
I heard about the rescue on the news. He must have been nust to go out in that.
