Hey Tyler, well done, you're linked from the SW Front Page!

Lovely shot - there's something very nice about getting these shots over water.

Paul.

Thanks Paul and Martin!

Its nice to get my first photo 'published' (if you can call it that) Paul I agree, the water shots really make the image, especially with the longer shutters when it almost looks like Ice. Martin, thanks for encouraging me to go and shoot again yesterday, had you not, I would not have taken the Camera to work. Smiley

Got this shot earlier but it was touch and go with that belt of cloud there. Had the camera on the tripod and just waited with the button in my hand, and when I got half a chance, hey presto Cheesy

Nice catch John. You caught them perfectly in those small clear gaps, and just in time too before Venus set behind the rooftop. I was clouded out this evening so no joy yet.

Tyler, that's another great capture. That must have been some sight. Looks like you found a very good location with a nice horizon for that one. Milky Way looks great too. That is an image to be proud of. What was the exposure?

Cheers

HA doesn't quite give ISS predictions for 1st Dec yet, however it is possible that during the Venus Occultation, or rather shortly after it, not only will it be possible to see the three brightest objects in the night sky in close proximity, but the fourth brightest as the ISS now is will make a fleeting pass, though of course it won't be that bright near the SW horizon as we'll be looking at the dark side of it, but will be much brighter as it rises up.

That's another great image Tyler, look's like a great site as well. I see you have picked up M11 the Wild Duck cluster in that image as well, lovely detail.

Thanks for the exposure details Tyler.

I'm looking on the net for a 'cloud filter'  Grin for the camera because that's all I can see these evenings.

It would be cool to catch the ISS/shuttle with Jupiter and Venus from N. Ireland. Good luck to anyone having a go. I will certainly be trying myself.

Tyler, that photo which you sent to Spaceweather is very beautiful!  Smiley

I am now under a thick layer of clouds, waiting for a stormy weather on tomorrow.
I don't know what the weather will be on Dec.01, but next Sunday's evening must be clear here...
