Thanks Martin. I didn't think before that my camera is able for it, but now I can condiser that in perfect conditions (at my suburban location) it is possible to reach up to 11mag (stars) and 9m (comets).  Smiley

I'm getting bored with overcast weather here (for 10 days in a row already and it seems to continue), so today I tried to get a photo of our old friend C/2006W3 remotely from BRT observatory (Tenerife).

Captured tonight... 2009 Nov.12, 21:14UT
(that's my first attempt of remote imaging) Smiley

Telescope C14 (355mm Schmidt-Cassegrain, f/11), FLI MicroLine camera fitted with a E2V CCD47-10 (FOV~24'x24').
1.5min RGB, levels & colours adjusted, unsharp mask, crop
Comet altitude 15°, RA 19h13m52s, DEC -11°18'49" (near the Aql/Sgr boundary)
Two brightest stars are TYC 5712-0625-1 (9.5m) and TYC 5716-0476-1 (11.1m).
Measured coma dia.=0'.7

That's very cool Roman, nice job, you must feel very frustated by all that cloud cover. Hopefully it will clear for the Leonids.

Thanks Martin!
Oh, something tells me that it may not be clear until the end of the year...  Lips sealed
