This was a gorgeous Autumn day. Calm, mild, with hazy sunshine and the air was filled with the rich scent of trees. Conkers and leaves littered the ground and the Sun shinning on the red tree tops was a visual treat. I went for a relaxed 5 mile walk to Drumlaph nature area and spent a pleasant few hours taking in the scene. The sky was begging for attention with atmospheric displays visible from 16.00 until sunset. Seen a UTA, Circumzenithal arc, and twin sundogs. The E dog was interesting because it split into two dogs, one above the other. Lots of lenticular clouds around and a strange thick streamer of altocu which formed nice mammatus bags. Here's a few shots.
