Unfortunately the weather is dire, but the QE2 is making its farewell visit to Belfast this afternoon - it is at this minute off County Down sailing up from Douglas IoM - you can track it here.....

Good site btw - gives live data via GPS of ships positions - good for me as I live by the sea!

Should be in Belfast all afternoon sailing out circa 1700hrs.

Hoping for some better visibility I'm going to pop down to Carrickfergus a bit later for some shots.

Just back in from Carrick where I got absolutely soaked but got what I wanted which was this....



She's coming out of Belfast circa 1700 - hopefully the weather will be a bit better then!
