I'd forgotten about this one taken on August 20th .... a fine example of what I believe is called "vertrebratus" in cirrus developing from jet contrails & turning to cirrocumulus.

10:41 UT August 20 2008, 1/500 sec f/8, ISO 100, Canon 40D, 36mm focal length

Excellent example of that formation Brian!. It really does look like a spine doesn't it. Thanks for sharing that one.
