Not the greatest of photos, but photographed by me yesterday with a totally manual film camera and developed by me in the kitchen this afternoon Smiley  A very fulfilling experience!

It came out great Paul. What kind of camera and lens setup was it? As much photography as I have done in my life, I always figured I'd better leave the developing and printing up to the so-called experts. When you open the envelope, sometimes you wonder who they hire to do the work!

A bit more on this Smiley

http://niphotography.co.uk/backtobasics/

I used the X-500 and a few lenses, only one of which was a zoom of sorts - actually a varifocal Vivitar Series 1 28-105 - difference being that you need to refocus after zooming as it doesn't maintain its focus across different focal lengths. Looking at the web renditions I may adjust the image gammas downwards a bit!

Enjoy!
