Many thanks,Anton, much appreciated. Yes, it did take a while to process them all. It is hard getting the exposure right against a bright sky but I've dug around and asked a few questions of 'those who know' and post photos to die for  lol..and spot metering will also help as well as metering on grass but also and crucially, I was told that often  a lot of photoshop time goes into them and one person who produced a superb F-16 photo had spent 8 hours 15 minutes processing it and another is noted for coming close to HDR on them or doing HDR on them but  that's being more like a software technician than a photographer. I'll find another air show to go to  and plod on. Thanks again.
