Many thanks, all. The Cg 's were pink - lovely to view but they must have been a way off as I didn't hear any thunder.

Martin- I have never forgotten you saying how important the Earth- sky link is so I will always lay some emphasis on getting that right.

Paul - Yes, that number 8 photo was really my favourite too  and I think what made it were the clouds midway  on the left side with that warm setting sun colour,there's that contrast between them, soft,warm , relaxing even to look at and the menacing white anvil and also the grey clouds had a look of lenticular about them so a variety of cloud types too.
