Only got one unimpressive view from here using the bins. I was talking to Martin on the phone at the time so it was a one handed effort! It was around 01:30BST and the Pleiades were still a couple of degrees away.

I ended staying up until 05.00 then called it a night. It was 100% overcast. I read a book though which was productive. During the period of occultation the bright glow of the moon couldn't be seen. I was a little disappointed because I was eager to do some imaging of the sky. I have been clouded out for many nights. It looks good tonight though...

well I observed, took some pictures, but I only have a kit lens so it was at 55mm. Not worth posting, but it was alright I guess, too much light pollution to be great here...
