Two snaps of the famous Dunluce Castle duirng one of the awesome sunny high pressure days we have been getting so much of lately.

Sunset at Downhill Beach

Last two from Downhill Beach on Sunday looking at the smoke from a massive gorse fire blowing across the ocean skyline, this smoke was covering tens of miles of sky and could be seen coming from NE Antrim, blowing across the sea, past Donegal, and into the Atlantic. These are 18mm and dont do it justice!

Stunning images Martin, the Castle looks so different in the daylight you can see all the dangers you encounter when you are there at night. The sunset has great vivid colours together with the reflection on the sea it’s a keeper.

Thanks

Anthony

Nice images, you can see the curve of the horizon Wink And real "exam weather" ...

That smoke has been a real issue these last few days, there's ash on everything ... hereabouts there seems to be two plumes, one I think from the Mournes & one from a major fire at Ballypatrick Forest which has been burning for days but hasn't had the same coverage as some of the others.

Lovely sunset Martin and  good shots  of the castle .

Hopefully these downpours will end these fires both sides of the water.
