Hi all,
Here is an image of the International Space Station taken from Balbriggan Co Dublin. It was captured using satellite Tracker software and a celestron C14 at f11 with a Lumenera 2.0 mono camera at 30fps on an AP1200 mount. Time was 10:16pm and the Space Station peaked at 60 degrees altitude. The image is 3 frames stacked manually in registax V4 and some processing was done using Photoshop CS3.
This is the first time I imaged the International Space Station it was a great experience .
Image was taken by Carl O'Beirnes & David Moore from Balbriggan Observatory Co Dublin.
Summery,
When imaging the International Space Station using satellite Tracker software it is definitely a two man job.
It takes one person to keep it centered in the cross hair of the finder scope and the other to let you know when it's on screen
and to make some adjustments to the contrast.
Carl.
