I was up at 4.00am this morning and out at 4.30 and drove to Ruardean in the Forest of Dean  (25 miles) to get this shot of the setting moon at this particular location, it's a great time of day to be out and about but I wouldn't like to do it too often  Grin The Black Mountains of Wales and Sugar Loaf mountain are in the background. ..somewhere . I'd like to have waited   a bit longer until it was lower but the sun was rising and the moon was fading quickly.

Thanks again. I don't know how you cope,Martin, being up  at that hour so often-I don't think Mark and Anton are up at 4.00am but I know you are - I'm still a bit dozy Lol. I need an early night tonight.

Musn't knock this hot weather, it cheers the soul, the convective stuff will be alone soon enough.
