A few images from Maghera on Sat of the mulitcell storm which Conor, Declan and I were watching, it was part of a complex stretching from here to the N/NE coast, nice lightning from it and on 2-3 occasions there was rapid rotation under the flanking area. The majestic anvil against a crisp blue sky was the highlight of the day with temps at -45 degrees C at anvil height. The storm knocked the power out and set off car alarms, the video is on another page. Also saw this fantastic gust front at sunset, it was a stunning sight.  Superb shots, a great experience, especially the orange skies. As I mentioned re. the video, as good as those I see in the US .

Class images! The first shows off the height of the storm cell very well, second image is my fav showing the structure at the rear of the storm with dark bases and anvil. Hopefully wont be long to we see skies like this again  Smiley
