An experiment in the back garden with long exposures. This is 124 images stacked, i really like star-trails and intend to create more of these in the future.  I have been researching locations that would produce an interesting foreground like Castles, ruins and stone circles so watch this space.  Results should be much better with darker skies away from town lights.

All images 30 seconds, f3.5, ISO400 + 2 dark frames, developed in startrails.de software

Looks good to me,Paul-Martin has derelict buildings/castles  in some of his night shots so you should be near some.

Nice one Paul, these are one of my favourite subjects to shoot  I never get bored of  them, I recommend trying star trails with a church as the main foreground together with the North Star in the frame.

Thanks John ive been doing a bit of research of ruins/castles/churches and stone circles and have a list of locations now
