Our rainy season is finally over and our starry nights are beginning to reappear. Just a quick one of Iridium 62 skirting above Cygnus at -6. 43 sec f/4 18mm ISO 1600

Thats a great image Richard! Not only do you have the Iridium, you also have a great view of the milky way including the North American nebula! Very impressive! I must make a point to hunt out some of these flares now the warmer nights are upon us!

That's a very nice capture, Richard. Sorry I can't say any more about the rest of the image - I have to leave that to those who know like Mark... ie. The Milky way and the North American nebula.

Thanks for the comments. It was such a beautiful evening and I hadn't imaged any Iridium Flares since last Summer so I had to catch this bright one. The Milky Way is getting into a very favorable viewing position for a Summerfull of enjoyment for those of us who aren't fortunate enoug to see the NLC's.

Like this one Richard, dark sky no LP and a clear Iridium flare captured great stuff.
