These have been rescued from 'live shows' and the handler told me that they haven't forgotten the tricks they were taught so they 'clap' their flippers when they know food is about to be served up and I saw them swaying their heads from side to side too, another 'trick' taught them..they are  huge Lol. They originally lived in the northern Pacific but moved south. Generally ,they live off the coasts of California (the California sea lion)  Mexico southern Brazil,Chile and Peru and  also the Australian and New Zealand  seal lions in the southern hemisphere.

They seem ok..must be better than their previous environment - I assume they would be at a disadvantage now  back in the wild.
